L Magazine Publisher, Bukola Oriola has expressed her gratitude to all the community members who have joined her to celebrate authors around the world with the L Magazine Launch & Award that took place over the weekend at the Coon Rapids Civic Center.
She expressed her joy in a post on her Instagram page when she wrote, “I am pleasantly surprised 😲 Thanks so much to everyone who supported the L Magazine Launch & Award. Your tickets and donations raised $609 for two nonprofits- @theenitanstory and Planting People Growing Justice (PPGJ). Thanks for joining us to support literacy and human trafficking advocacy….”

Thanks a Million! My heart is filled with gratitude, and I am humbled by your support.
Thank you so much for joining me to celebrate authors around the world and also supporting literacy and human trafficking advocacy.
I am glad to inform you that we raised $609.
The Enitan Story (TES) will receive a check of $354.50 and Planting People Growing Justice (PPGJ) will receive a check of $254.50. A check of $100 was made out directly to The Enitan Story, hence, the difference in the donation between the two organizations.
