This page is dedicated to my Insiders. I have created this page to list various resources that I have learned about or use in my career or business.
Metropolitan State University: I am currently enrolled in the Individualized Studies program at the university. If you are a creative young person or an adult looking to get a college degree for your experiences, you can check out the College of Individualized Studies at Metropolitan State University.
Readfree.ly: If you are a brand new author, planning to be, or a veteran author, check out read freely to help your book reach a wide audience. According to the website, “If your book is discounted, free or permanently priced $0.99, we’d love to tell our subscribers about it.”
ReadFree.ly is a free service for authors and it states that its readers are most likely to purchase a book priced at $0.99. This is a great opportunity for you as an author to bring your discounted book to an audience waiting for it.
To have your book submitted, you have to fill out a form on it’s website. “After completing this form, you must email a copy of your book cover to bookcovers@readfree.ly using your title as the email subject,” notes the website.
Additional information to guide you when submitting your book to ReadFree.ly:
This is a FREE service. However, we are currently only able to support books published on Amazon.
* We accept around 30% of the free books we receive.
* We accept around 95% of books priced $0.99.
* We accept around 10% of books priced $2.99 and above.
* If your discount only lasts 1 day we will not use it. ]
BookDesign: I have used this Fiverr Freelancer three times now. She is a great designer and very responsive. She puts the best in your job and deliver on time. And, you can get a gig for as little s $5 from her when you want to make a cover for your e-book.
New free Kindle Books is another resource that you can use to promote your book. You could be featured once you subscribe to the newsletter and fill all the necessary information about your book. According to the New Free Kindle Books, “For $5 you can guarantee that your eBook is placed on the book shelf on the “Upcoming Free eBooks” page or the “Books Deal” page and a larger image with a partial description below the shelf.”
In addition, “Every week an eBook will be chosen from the guaranteed listings and featured on the front page of the site or you can list your promotion for $10. Contact Jim at newfreekindlebooks.com for more information.”
New Free Kindle Book states, “Please Note: The only requirement is that you subscribe to the site by adding your email address and clicking the activate link sent to you to confirm your subscription. If you don’t subscribe your promotion will not be listed.”
